Soviet cover from Kiev П. К sent locally. The cover is franked correctly for the local registered letter rate of (4k+10k) with 14k Pioneer. The non-standard registration label is imperf, with upper and lower dotted-line borders and a pre-printed registration #. The Kiev postmark is bilingual: Russian / Ukrainian.

Franked correctly at 35k with definitives (one 10k stamp missing). Scarce postmark of Town (postal) Agency No1 – ГОР. АГ. No1. Addressed to a machine factory from the State Cotton Trust.

Cover from the village of Pryputni. Chernigov to Kiev (machine receiver cancel of 12/9). Franked with unoverprinted Imperial Arms 15k+10k for the correct Ukrainian rate of the time. Imperial stamps without a trident overprint became invalid in the Ukraine after October 1st.

The town of Nikolsk-Ussuriisk (today Ussuriisk) had been renamed Voroshilov in February 1935 (until 1957). The sender included the old city name in parenthesis in the address.
