Thanks khj, That will give me a start. If I can positively identify a few by straight edge, perhaps I can see the difference in tagging and go from there.
Does anyone else have input? Would appreciate it. In my looking into this, I found where someone had made an album page with all the 2013 varieties and made it available for anyone to download, print out, and use. Hopefully I can find it again and if so, plan to use it. Would like to post a scan once I get it done.

Hi All, Been sorting thru some Flag For All Season stamps. I have them all sorted out except I'm unable to differentiate between the 4782-4785 and the 4782a-4785a. If I'm not mistaken, the only difference is the tagging. I do have a shortwave UV light, but all my 4782-4785's tagging looks the same under UV. And they all look the same as the tagging on the other FFAS stsmps. Is there another way besides tagging to differentiate between the 4782-4785 and 4782a-4785a. Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi Everyone, I ran across this block in my collection. I noticed that the chimneys looked different. The chimneys on the left look green and the ones on the right look red or orange. Also, on the left two stamps, the small green tree at the far end of the houses on the right, is almost missing. There is a plainly visible small green tree on the right two stamps. Scott # for this stamp is 1384. My scott Specialized lists some color omitted varieties. Can anyone help me to determine if this is one of those color omitted varieties? Or perhaps a different color omitted? Or just an oddity or freak? At the very least, it is an interesting specimen to look at and compare! I'm new at posting here, but here's a shot at posting a pic of it. Kind Regards, Dave Norris Oldtriguy <><

Hi Everyone, Just want to pass along something... I had got several Commemerative Panels in a trade awhile back. I dont collect that format, but figured I could use the MNH stamps from them for my collection or to use as trade stock. Well, it seems that when they put the mount onto the panel card, they use more water than needed and some water gets into the gap on the back of the mount and in contact with the gum. I had several of these that now have disturbed gum from being in the mount when the mount was mounted to the panel. So don't assume the stamps you have in these kind of Commem Panels are MNH, they could have disturbed gum! Here's an example of what one of the panels looks like before the stamp is removed. Kind Regards, Dave N. Oldtriguy <><

Thanks for the welcome everyone! ChickasawStampMan, I'm in Newton. Don't get down to the coast much, but I also do some running and occasionally will do a race down that way. Saw where there was a Stamp Show down there earlier this year. Maybe I can go next year...what do you collect?

Greetings All,
I am just starting to get back into my stamp collecting after a couple year lay off. Had been (and still am) a member of several other online stamp groups. My collecting interests are mainly USA stamps to fill my USA albums, a USA PNC single collection, and World Wide Airmail/Air Mail Semi-Postal/Air Mail Special Delivery (pre 1950 or so) I have a Scott Minute Man and Harris Liberty albums for my main USA collection. Home Made album from another stamp collector for the USA PNCs, and Steiner pages for the W/W Airs. I use a couple free USA album page sources for yearly updates and augmentation/specialized pages. Recently I have become disenchanted with the new USA stamps - USPS just puts out way to many, IMHO. So, I may stop my USA collection at 2015. Or just add new issues as suits me. Over the years I have accumulated lots of "extra" material that was given to me or that I acquired in lots or trades. I do like trading using want/have lists and scans. I still work full time, am married, and own a home, so don't have near enough time to spend with my stamps. But hopefully I will be able to slowly get back into it. Kind Regards to Everyone here, thanks for having me. <><
