No worry Rod. You are more than welcome friend. I have another bunch headed your way soon. I've been working every day and time is my issue right now. First chance I get I'll spend some time pulling others for you from my overflowing mess here.Don't fret about SP&M issues. I'm in a serious state of chaos I won a couple large collections and lost room on my table. I'm sure it's under there somewhere.

Knee slapper Rod..My second rock wall (paid one) is coming along, about halfway, although this one lower and narrower it is bit more difficult as it is being built with roundish stone. The landscaping is flat rock laid into #1 stone lining a large embankment accented by natural pine posts with support arms suspending windchimes and numerous bird feeders and lanterns.Still working up ideas for the walkways and another steeper embankment. If the weather holds I may finish this year.My back is stoop sore every day, rocks are large, heavy and wall is low.Unexpected difficultly is finding enough natural stone, customer doesn't like shale which is the most prevalent here.

Right up my table.Playing in finals for 9 ball Thursday we finished second and play third place team. Not so good on 8 ball finished sixth no shot at playoffs. We moved into this league later than most and all the power players were taken. We play uphill every night totally mismatched. It's all good and we have a fun time.My wife is a terror on the table, most do not want to play her.

I was just working on my Nova Scotia today what i had was still mounted on old Minkus page. They now reside on quadrille page like the rest.I know I don't have that one, I do own a #1 that lacks clear margins.

Has anyone seen my watermarking dish?? Taking advantage of a rain day to get to that page of first cents and large queens I showed you.I came across a three cent LQ with 25a written in pencil on back, pretty sure I got this one cheap as my price limit for that stamp is low ball.I also just perfed a five cent(#26) it is the 12 x 12 so another nice stamp found. Please those that receive stamps from me CHECK them I usually just send along unchecked stock, you never know I might have sent a treasure. If you remember where the watermark dish is send me a message.I Hate Being Old.

Thanks for your valued opinion, falschung. and thank you Sir Rod for providing that link. Pretty much what I had thought still considering what a true example of that issue would cost an ideal item to own. I'll keep it. falschung your collection of forgeries must be quite extensive for references to all these issues. Better viewing here than any cable/satellite t.v. network.Plus I learn even at my advanced age. It's all Jack's fault somehow !!(wink wink)

Somewhere here I've posted an image of the Connell I purchased, be interested in your opinion. If some one can post a link would be appreciated. I'm of the opinion it is indeed a forgery but you would know. When time permits perhaps I can re-post a scan.

I actually am tech challenged as most here know.I bought a Digital microscope and when I got the connection etc. figured out it was very simple. My total investment was right around $25 and I am of the opinion a worthy investment.I can look at stamps ,flyspecking those I suspect under the 20x loupe. My prompts under scanner allow me to chose to use the ink jet scanner or the scope so pretty cut and dry use.

jimjung not sure you would have what I'm missing, and if you did I couldn't afford them anyway.#3#13#31,#32 and #63 that's my want list.I've narrowed it down by two last year maybe this year I'll get at least one more.I did pick up a dangerous number 3 forgery that was printed on laid paper this year.

Thanks for nice post(s) Rod, I now know what's missing in your basic Canada and can assist with the holes. Gotta give me a bit of time though as winter's onset is leaving me a scramble to finish some jobs.No worry 'mate.

It is indeed a 1949 issue. one of four for that year.Interesting my notes tell me that was only color released. Most of the SSJB issues were printed in at least two colors most in four and some even more. I didn't load my cd but if anyone needs catalog number I can comply.

John,Sounds like you have a plan.Myself been the whole circuit, started with an old Cornet world wide then Minkus BNA now quadrille pages.Kind of like starting over but just the way it worked out.I know what you mean about pages getting expensive.Wait til you get involved with mounts.A big factor in my decision to go to blank pages was I end up throwing out the printed pages when I get used, mint and blocks all fighting for that one little space. Then I got rather into certain issues and even more space was needed. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

falschung,GREAT stuff I'm impressed they all seem to picture different scenes. in my experience cindys are usually issued in different colors with same design, these don't seem to fit that format. You have quite the collection, very impressed. Thanks for sharing these.

Rod while you may be right about novice they must have had quite the budget that's some collection he seems to be picking from.Definitely not put together over night.I might add even watermarks seem right so some gleaned knowledge was gained somewhere.

CP Perhaps a friend or relative could store and safe guard your stamps ? If you lived closer I would stamp sit for sure.A closet shelf in an air conditioned/heated closet would suit your needs.Above all stay safe and be street smart.Stay aware of all around yourself if it don't look right go with your gut.
