The major political division of the Spanish areas in northwest Africa. It included Spanish Sahara (Rio de Oro and Saguiet el Hamra), Ifni and Southern Morocco (for administrative purposes). Separate stamp issues have been used for Rio de Oro, Ifni and La Aguera.
