There wasn't really much to archive, the site was not much more than an introduction to World Stamp Collector along with a download page.
Unfortunately the version of the software that was available for download was in a state of flux and as far as I know did not install successfully.

Before Collector Dave disappeared we corresponded periodically. But I had the feeling that the enormity of the task that he had taken on was getting to him.
He was doing both the development and simultaneously trying to populate the database - if I recall correctly he had already added about 500,000 stamps.
I offered to help with the programming so that he could concentrate on the data , however I never heard from him again, nor has he responded to any of my subsequent emails. Although he did continue to make the occasional posting on the Australian stamp board assuring people that he was still working on World Collector, but even those postings have now stopped.
