marbles....do you mean Crown watermarks ? The watermark on these should be simple cypher which should be shown at the front of the Gibbons catalogue (under watermarks). Just a heads up. If you press Alt and 171 (together) on your keyboard you should be able to get ½. Londonbus1 (Ack: Wikipedia)

Sorry I meant the crowns on their heads all but two and wondered if this was correct as nothing shows it in the SG catalogue. Thanks

Thanks Hi marbles, all of the George V stamps that you show do have crowns but some are not as well defined as others Click on your image and you should be able to expand the image in imgbb. Daniel

Sorry I meant the crowns on their heads all but two and wondered if this was correct as nothing shows it in the SG catalogue. Thanks The two stamps in question are Bechuanaland SG 74 and SG 78 overprinted on Great Britain SG 357 and SG 371 respectively. If you have a closer look, you will see that they do actually have a crown, but it is smaller than on the other denominations and flanked with the words "postage" and "revenue", so the crown is not as apparent. When taking photos, it would probably be advantageous to fold the transparent film over to avoid the reflections making the image hard to decipher. Clive Oh I see that daniel beat me to it, that is what happens when one starts a post, get distracted and comes back to finish the post an hour or two later

I have taken a better picture but two don’t have crowns on their heads. I am not sure what they are called and if they are in the wrong place.

I have taken a better picture but two don’t have crowns on their heads. I am not sure what they are called and if they are in the wrong place. All have Crowns over their heads. What you have is 5 different designs, ergo different placements and sizes of Crowns. See Stanley Gibbons or Scott with "Types" identified.

Unfortunately, the Stanley Gibbons has on 3 pages and I have looked and nothing mentions different placements or designs. I will probably leave them as they are with a check on it. They are BECHUANALAND.

What I collect: I collect world wide up to 1965 with several specialty albums added due to volume of material I have acquired. At this point I am focused on Canada and British America. I am always on the lookout for stamps and covers with postmarks from communities in Queens County, Nova Scotia. I do list various goods including stamps occasionally on eBay as hdm50

The Bechuanaland Protectorate stamps you show are regular Great Britain stamps with overprints. Here are how several of the values are shown in Scott.

Is this a complete set for 1913 or are they different years. I only showed part of the set from Scott. These go up to 1 shilling. Higher values are the Britannia Rules the Waves stamp. I did not mean to add to the confusion. I just shot a quick phone picture while having my cereal. 6:39 in the morning here in Toronto.
