I know nothing about Chinese stamps. In fact, I don't even collect them. Terrible photograph from a seller, but is this one of those popular expensive monkey stamps that people go nuts over? Or might it be a forgery?
It could really be anyone's guess. What's your guess? Do you think this might be genuine? SG 2968 I think it is, but what's the market value of these things? There were millions printed, I believe.

Not really scarce , but popular. Last full sheet sold for $180,000 I leave the guess work to you. Sc#1586 1980 5 million originally printed. Now so popular, constantly forged See Wiki : "Chinese Golden Monkey Stamp"
