Quebec Fish and Game. With the amount of labels printed, I would have thought they be more prevalent on ebay. I've yet to see them for sale. Seeing that label series began 1952, then this album would have been perhaps, mis-identified? Probably US Wildlife Album.

Here are some other examples of Quebec Federation of Fish and Game Associations conservation stamps, issued in the 1950's.

Some early Canadian provincial coat of arms stamps. I believe these were printed by the firm of Valentine & Sons around 1915. I've only ever seen these 4 (+ the larger Canadian coat of arms stamp). Has anyone seen the other provinces in this series?

Rod Thanks for the plug! So far I've managed to sell half the stock from the first printing of the Field Guide. Seems more collectors are interested in cinderella philately than before. Cheers!!

The Field Guide to the Cinderella Stamps of Canada is so far only available from sellers in Canada. But Bird Bear Press in Montreal can ship the book worldwide.

Quite honestly these have me stumped. They are dated 1948, and have the word "CANADA". Looks like some type of royal wedding, or royal visit perhaps. Doesn't look like QEII. KGVI celebrated his silver wedding anniversary in 1948, but it doesn't look like the royal couple on the stamps. Does anyone recognize who the people are? Maybe from Denmark or Netherlands?

Queen Juliana of the Netherlands? I don't recognise the out of focus arms, perhaps Queen Juliana's Arms. There is a Canada link , as she lived in Ottawa in exile during WW2

There are a number of Royals in Europe who were related to each other and look similar. Queen Anne of Roumania (daughter of Princess Margaret of Denmark) married King Michael I of Roumania (cousin of Princess Elizabeth and great-great-grandson of Queen Victoria) after they met at the Royal Wedding of Princess Elizabeth and Prince Philip. This picture looks like them and history has them meeting at the Royal Wedding for the first time before marrying on June 10, 1948. Elizabeth and Philip actually married on November 20, 1947, the year before. This is King Michael I in 1947. I think Anne and Michael are a definite possibility. Found a good pic of Princess Anne from the Royal Wedding (I think)

Couple of 'new' Canadians to add to my, and the forums collection Norwegian Relief Fund. WWII era? And 75th anniversary of the founding of Rolland Papers, a huge paper manufacturer here in Canada.

Today is Thanksgiving in Canada. Here are a few cinderellas used at Thanksgiving to raise funds.
1. from the Victoria Pythian Cerebral Palsy Committee of Victoria, BC. This organization issued annual seals in a similar design from about 1953 - 1965.
2. from Northwestern Hospital (Toronto) issued in 1962.

Though technically not a cinderella (as it is a valid postage stamp in Canada), here's the 8th and latest incarnation of the Bird Bear Press picture postage stamp. Thought this thread might be interested!

I have been known to soak off all these I've found buying old album pages. Not sure at the moment where these bits may be stashed. When you consider I've recently seen whole sets offered for couple bucks I question my sanity.....but then crazy is fun.

Purchased at yesterdays bourse, this cover is too new for my collection interests (though interesting to see a 1976 olympic stamp actually used), but the back caught my attention with this label. It will be displayed back to front in the book.

Definitely cinderellas. This sheet (it would be evident if the left selvage was still intact) was produced by H. E. Harris & Co in 1982. Catalog number cc3867.2 in the 2nd edition of the Field Guide.

Because of the damage, I'd let it go at $3. The Field Guide has a mint undamaged sheet priced at $5.
