Sorry to be a couple of days late in responding, but thanks very much for posting this, Rod! I've been collecting (actually, more like accumulating) Manchukuo, since it goes along with Japan. Someday I'll try to make sense of what I've picked up over the years.
In the meantime, I wanted to point out for others that the little "logo" in the top center of the stamps you've shown is distinctive to Manchukuo. I occasionally see posts from people looking to identify an Asian stamp, and if it has that logo (I think it's a stylized orchid, if I'm recalling correctly), then it's a Manchukuo stamp. (I think a few Manchukuo stamps don't have that logo -- not sure why. I'll try to double-check that when I can spend some quality time with a catalog.)
Thanks, Rod!

Philatarium mused : "and if it has that logo (I think it's a stylized orchid, if I'm recalling correctly)" The "Imperial Seal" Dave, When I have completed mounting Manchukuo, you are welcome to my duplicates. I bid on a lot of Manchukuo, some weeks back, and they were knocked down at 300% over Scott Catalogue, so this is a collecting discipline on the rise. Here is some more (sundry) info on Manchuria. Rod: Some very helpful information you've once again impressively managed to retrieve! And I had a feeling that "logo" was probably too breezy a term to use here. (And do please keep me in mind on your kind offer about your duplicate Manchukuo once you're set.) Those high realizations you mentioned perhaps are the result of some kind of unusual cancel? Or perhaps a not-well-documented printing variation? -- Dave
