Souvenir sheet issued by Morocco in 1990 for the first anniversary of the Arab Maghreb Union:  Of course, since the stamp is issued by Morocco, the map claims Western Sahara for the Cherifian Crown. No surprise there. But Morocco is also not being neighborly as the map makes it look larger than it really is (and Tunisia too), at the detriment of Algeria and especially Mauritania. |

A very large souvenir sheet (larger than my scanner's field of view, see the ruler above it) issued by Spain and showing the first postal map of the country on its 300 th anniversary. Interestingly, the map is all labelled in French. Postal service to Andorra is clearly shown to depend on the Spanish postal services of the time. The map is quite precise considering the technology of the times.  |

Morocco issue in 1984 for the 39th anniversary of the League of Arab States:  As was the case with the previous issue on the same topic shown earlier in this thread, the land mass spanned by the Arab Nations appears continuous, an obvious political statement. |

A cover I purchased for my illustrated advertising cover collection and especially for the map of the Sunshine Trail to El Paso, Gateway to Mexico on the reverse. There is still a Boyd Engineering in El Paso, but now Boyd Engineering Supply Co., and at a different address. Also a location in Albuquerque, NM.

Issue from New Caledonia about the WWII service of the Pacific Battalion of the Free French Forces and one of their commanding officers. Considering the battle sites mentioned on the map, they likely crossed paths with the Foreign Legion Division my great-uncles were in several times.  |

Some new St-Pierre-et-Miquelon definitives with a map of the archipelago:  Apart from the leftmost red stamp, these are all reprints of already existing stamps from 2017, only the date on the right edge has changed. |
