What I collect: I collect world wide up to 1965 with several specialty albums added due to volume of material I have acquired. At this point I am focused on Canada and British America. I am always on the lookout for stamps and covers with postmarks from communities in Queens County, Nova Scotia. I do list various goods including stamps occasionally on eBay as hdm50

I think I have a pretty good idea why this 1977 Bahamas 6th Caribbean Scout Jamboree First Day Cover was never cancelled or used. Another find from the stamp hoard I am going through.  |

I received this stamp from New Caledonia today, issued in 1982 for the Year of Scoutism. I already had a used copy of this stamp and had actually ordered the next one in the catalog. Sometimes mistakes happen.
P.S.: Lucas wanted to try out some new fonts. He's been playing with those for his school PowerPoint presentations.

Received a packet of "Cast Offs" swaps from a regular colleague We exchange anything we no longer want, all sorts of ephemera, stamps, mail cuttings etc. I love it, kinda like a lucky dip So, interestingly, out of 115 items, there were 26% scout (and girl scouts girl guides)   |

These covers do not have Scout stamps but for sure would fit in with a thematic collection. The set includes the full set of the June 15, 1979 Provincial & Territorial Flags. They are not discoloured, there is a shadow from where I took the photo.  |
