Hi all, This question is from a friend from another board. Maybe one of you guys might be able to help.
Does someone know whether the Scott catalog value for stamps from Rhodesia (#1 through #140) are valued for never hinged, or hinged? My old catalog says that all stamps from Rhodesia & Nyasaland are for MNH, but nothing for Rhodesia itself.
I have a 2011 Scott's catalogue and there is no mention of catalogue values for unused stamps for Rhodesia #1 through #140.
Can anybody help?
Thanks a bunch

Hi Reena,
Since Scott's doesn't provide a break point for valuation of hinged versus non-hinged for Rhodesia 1 - 140, I would say the values are for hinged. I always assume the pricing is for hinged up until Scott puts in the break point message.

Yes, the Scott unused prices for Rhodesia are for lightly hinged. The hinged/unhinged pricing breakpoint is actually the end of that listing. All the subsequent unused prices listed in Southern Rhodesia, Northern Rhodesia, and Rhodesia & Nyasaland are for never hinged.
