Yes, a curly one Brian, I am happy to have it in Asia, Admin / Mods can move it if so desired. We have had a few countries in "out of geographical context" to satisfy general understandings of location. Tannu Tuva may be one. I can have it in Asia, maybe collectors more readily would search for it with Russia / Europe. I'll pass the buck to Admin / Moderators  |

Tannu-Tuva Anyone for a ride? (As expected, Froggie is up front, driving....Squirrel is looking circumspect, hoping Bambi doesn't stop in a hurry, or he will become perforated) Postmarks : Only strikes seen in my database, are bright violet or black, with just "TUVA" visible, indicates CTO's.  |

Not sure about squirrel but I had a female roommate named chipmonk.She tried to teach me macrame without much luck.I was young and wasn't really looking at the knots if you get the drift.

1927 Mounted with 2nd hand mounts. 1,2, and 5 Kopek are reprints (smooth clear gum) Originals : Clear crackly gum. Thematic : Archery on stamps.  |

1932 Overprint - rare & forged  A genuine wide numeral H39 according to the Ustinovskiy catalog  A suspicious pair - the very neat numerals are unusual and they do not match the above nor the Ustinovskiy catalog below The paper on the right one is very clean & white for an 80 year old stamp  This series shows up on many auctions generally with no certification Genuine ones also come with POSTA or numerals omitted and inverted

What I collect: I collect world wide up to 1965 with several specialty albums added due to volume of material I have acquired. At this point I am focused on Canada and British America. I am always on the lookout for stamps and covers with postmarks from communities in Queens County, Nova Scotia. I do list various goods including stamps occasionally on eBay as hdm50

Working my way into the 'T' countries and there was the first 5 from the 1927 Tannu-Tuva set that had questionable cancels. I have that whole set mint hinged so I will pass on them. What I also have stuck between the album pages for the country is this sheet with the first 10 stamps mint hinged with commentary. I decided it was best to leave them mounted on the little sheet.
 this was why it was so easy for me and I stand by my Scott 8 based on this sheet from my collection. I doubt I will be as good in future stumpers. This is page 2 from the post above that did not seem to come along with the quote.  |
