Ha ha - this "baby" always strikes me as being one of the funniest stamps. The Scott catalogue describes this image as an "infant", but it looks like a refugee from a Spike Jones skit - a 50 year old man dressed up as a baby. A Yugoslav postal tax stamp from 1954. All that's missing is the 5 o'clock shadow and a cigar! And for those not in tune with the Spike Jones reference, this devolves into typical madness. Up next, how about a top hat? Ryan

...If no one finds any stamp with the correct subject within 24 hrs of the post-time; then YOU must post a picture of one, so you must actually know of a stamp with that subject in the first place. You then score a point and then name the next subject... It has been more than 24 hours since my last post so either you all were stumped or I am the only one still playing this game... Next let's find the subject of this video:

Apparently February 15 was World Pangolin Day. I wonder if there will be another World Pangolin Day next year. If so, we can celebrate by rolling in the mud. Up next - how about a pancake? (Or multiple pancakes, or their indigenous equivalent ....) Ryan

Buffleheads on a 1948 duck stamp. Here's a young man sawing on a fiddle and playing it hot. Find one of these Chinese fiddle things on a stamp. The bow is captured between the two strings, so I'm sure any picture of the fiddle will include the bow as well - you can't get rid of it unless you take a string out. Traditional instruments had strings made of silk, but now they use steel strings. Tough to find silk strings at the music shop, I bet ... Ryan

That was a beautiful duet, loved it! The fiddle is a Banhu, not the one I had in my mind's eye, I could not find that anywhere in my China collection. This is the only one I could find, China (Taiwan) 2002 (Top Right) Made from a Coconut shell, covered with a thin wood veneer. Target : Find a Cinderella Stamp image, on a genuine postage stamp.

That was easy knowing your affection for the IOM. I do not have any Manx Cats in my IOM collection, but I knew of them, when I read a stamp exhibit of the Cats that have no tails. I retrieved this image from the web. Target : Roach (singular or plural) on a stamp.

One partridge and many pears. The designer of this stamp series, David Gentleman, is the subject of a nice online exhibit at the British Postal Museum & Archive website. Up next, how about a fractal? Ryan

Naked archer - I had a look through my glassines of Belgian Congo and Ruanda Urundi, and was able to find these two, so I took a quick cell phone picture. No luck with the Ruanda Urundi, those are missing from my piles of stuff. Note the postmarks from Elisabethville, now known as Lubumbashi. This city is the capital of Katanga Province, known to stamp collectors from their issues during the brief breakaway State of Katanga period immediately after Congolese independence. While snooping through my catalogues the other day I came across a nice starfish on a star-shaped stamp. Find a starfish (doesn't have to be a star-shaped stamp, though). Ryan
