Thanks for both of these, Steve! And thanks for renaming the thread, too. Between the two of us, we might most, if not all of them. Some of mine are already scanned and uploaded on the web, so I'll just need to look for them. But I don't want to do anything out of the order you intend.
Also, one tip for others looking at this thread: to see a larger, more detailed image, you can right click on the thumbnail then choose to open in a new tab (or window, if that's your thing). That way, you'll be able to read the text on the folders. [* Moderator note - the thumbnail images in the previous posts have been replaced with full-sized images.]
Thanks again, Steve!

Dave,
The ball is now in your court. Sadly, these are the only two souvenir sheets that I have. I look forward to seeing your additions, as well as those of other members.

Let me see what I can come up with.

Another long since added to thread. I don't have much as far as Asian stamps go. but I did pick up #306a Mint 1940 Daisetsuzan National Park S/S.Just gorgeous, single colour stamps. Japan really outdid themselves with this series.

All national park souvenir sheets of Japan were sold with a folder.
s.s. without folder a sold at a considerable discount and dealers are often reluctant to buy them without the folder. Here the front page of the Kirishima national park s.s.:

I'm not entirely sure this qualifies, but in 2002 I visited Kyoto and was able to buy the following folder with the included sheet of stamps at one of the city temples:

I have the Lighthouse hingeless albums for Japan. They make clear full-page holders with the same 13-hole and size as the album pages, and I use those to put the folder in and place it right before the page with the souvenir sheet. Makes it easy to look at both sides of the folder. And I don't have to mount anything- just insert the folder.

Something I found out when I was in Tokyo in 1971 when I was 15 years old.... at that time most of the big department stores had a a stamp department with glass display cases showing Japanese stamps to make my 15-year-old eyes water. I was determined to get a national park souvenir sheet or two (from the early 1950s), and the girls running the desk wore medical-type gloves when selecting the inventory! Anyway, English was not a barrier when you can point with your finger. And I found out that some of the early National Park souvenir sheets not only came with a folder, but a small glassine leaf inside the folder to help protect the souvenir sheet and keep it from sticking to the folder. (Japan is a very humid country in the summer). I presume that those glassine leafs were original from the Post Office. I'm thinking most of those have disappeared from collections, even when the collector still has the folder.
OH yes, the 'latest thing' in those department stores in the summer of 1971 were the recent Expo '70 souvenir sheets and the upcoming Winter Olympics. I can't remember if they had the Winter Olympic S/S in stock, or just pictures of what the design looked like. But the array of what was available in terms of Japanese stamps blew my mind, when I thought of the little stamp shop in my hometown back in the States. Of course, no internet back in those days.

randyt, you remebered the glassine leaves very well ! The following souvenir sheet and itĀ“s folder still contains that glassine, what is exactly of the same size as the s.s. However it makes little sence to try to make a scan of it,I guess. So here the first N.P. s.s.,followed by the folder, issued on Dec.25th,1938:
Folder front-side:

Frontside of the common folder of both s.s.
inner pages of the folder; Due to the war and JapanĀ“s defeat, there was a gap of eight years, before the national-park-series was continued.
