It appears as though "alanl" has been adding to the above list! The only reference material that I have are the `Centennial Study Group` newsletters. Here`s something that is not reported in the newsletters. An oval shaped mark on the Queen`s chin. I found another one tonight so now I have three. Perf 10 sheet stamps with right hand straight edge.

I humble myself to those who have made strides in this issue. I have been busy trying to place them in my date of release collection. In some instances I have moved them three times. I hope once done they will never be touched again. They were released slowly over seven years and many of the same values were printed several years apart. I hope only to retain a bit of what I've learned from working on them. Kudos to alanl for nice flyspecking. One day I may get back to them.

Came across this thread in my journeys, so thought I'd add these. A small collection of precanceled 1967 definitives. If I'm reading my 2016 Unitrade correctly, the 2¢ stamps catalogue at $45 each. All the blocks are MNH

I started collecting stamps around the time Canada Post was trying to divest itself of the Centennials. I bought quite a few of them at the time & then a few more. I had tried to get all the paper flourescences, but gave up. They are so subtle. I liked the dark, medium, bright & hibrites. If you think this series is bad, don't look at the Caricature & Landscape Definitives the succeeded the Centennials! Now definitives are boring... PS: that’s a nice lot of precancels, jamesw! Especially the 2¢!

brightonpete, I found a dealer who was selling classified centennials etc.All the papers and fluences,I inquired how he came to do this and his explanation was his job involved classifying some extremely small insects. For him this was no challenge and actually much easier.Kudos to him 'cause man o man I certainly can't do it.Completeness is one of my goals.

I know what you mean, frog! I look at all the ink splatters and constant varieties & just shake my head at them. There are so many. I've pretty much kept it to a basic set, with a few varieties. One variety that I have - no definitive (pardon the pun!) reason why it was applied, but here is the 6¢ orange (459p) with fluorescent overprint of "9959" on it. Winnipeg tagged, with low fluorescent paper. I think I put it up in the fakes & forgeries section, but here it is again. Bought c. 40 years ago, for some unknown price...

Here is a rather large FDC of the Centennials, dated February 8th, 1967 from Vancouver, British Columbia. Personally, I haven't come across too many FDC's of this set.

I didn't collect much in the way of constant plate varieties or EFO's of this series. But I did snap up this bottom strip of 5x10¢ Jack Pine, a painting by Tom Thomson. A crease in the paper affected 3 of the stamps, 2 quite spectacularly.

Canada Post sold a plastic stamp box with a Centennial theme to it. The box has a large area to store your stamps, Air Mail & Special Delivery sticker inside. At the top was a round housing to store water & a roller to wet the gum, instead of licking it. This is the card that was included with it.

... and here is the box, with instructions. Canada Post also put out a brown version for the 1976 Olympics. Stickers at the bottom, stamps above In case one could not figure it out for themselves!

I bought the plastic box that was sold for the Canada Centennial issue.....last month at our local stamp club. Stiff paper box as well, slightly tattered.
The price: ONE dollar. US, not Canadian :-). I was wondering what to do with it.....
Anyone want it for the price of mailing it? (or $3, whichever is lower)

I just checked my 6¢ orange LL plate/blank blocks (I have 6) and none have that blob. I do note two do have about a 1 pixel-sized addition on the same side, and a very thin ribbon connecting the C to the A. But on just a quick cursory check, that's all I saw. I'd have to spend a bit more time to note anything else.

Here is a 544a booklet. Notice the lines across the one cent Queen head on both stamps. Had a couple of people offer to buy it..But, i am keeping on to it.

Here are a few extreme examples:

Here is a nice example of the doubling of the C. Unitrade 459III. I have not read anything how
this happened but I think it is a re-entry.

Here we have a slight doubling of the 6. 6 cent black die II.
Unitrade # 460c iv. They say this was caused by plastic flow.

Allan, you are having fun......great - I wish I could join you (maybe not !!) - All my Centennials are in Norway (given to a friend....lots of them) as I did not have the incentive (courage) to do them - Bravo to you !!! René

Question re 7c Green Unit face 543. My 2016 Unitrde says ttphis value is only on dull fluorescent paper, with minimal glow. A Colnect user has a copy that appears to be very bright under UV, does this stamp exist with other fluorescence levels Picture below is Colnect user's picture of 2 7c stamps, one on left looks dull to me, other looks like could be HiBrite Any help appreciated.

djcmhThe reason I cannot help you is that a friend in Norway wanted to go "deep" into the Centennials - so I gave him all my definitives I had in a binder (Canada). Still have the ones my late dad collected but he did not go into varieties. René

Another variety found in the booklet BK69. A dot under the C. This was unreported when I came across it.
