Dahomey issue for a new DC-8F aircraft procured by the Air Afrique airline, and its imperforate variant: This Air Afrique issue DC-8F was also issued by other nations participating in the airline. Here I have the stamps from Ivory Coast, Central African Republic, Togo, and the imperforate variant of the issue from Mauritania. There were 12 issuing countries total, so in addition Cameroon, Congo (Brazzaville), Gabon, Upper Volta, Niger, Senegal and Chad. I'm of course on the look-out for these issues!  |
