I have the complete set of 108 stamps/cards from the Birds of the world stamp collection by the International Council for Bird Preservation. Each bird stamp is attached to a card with an artists impression and having detailed explanatory notes on the rear. Here is one from Grenada  |

1999 SA Aerogram Heron  I have fond memories of those and have many of them boxed up - my mother used to send me an aerogramme every week until her health made it difficult to write. (Luckily by then, Google Talk provided me with very cheap international calling rates.) I had to do a double take - I was half expecting to see my address! |
