This stamp, the 2/6d from the Falkland Islands 1938-50 Definitives set, features both Gentoo Penguins & King George VI (Michel 90 | Stanley Gibbons 160) and was cancelled Port Stanley “14 JA/(?)”
 
Given the colouring, paper quality and visible cancel, I am inclined to note this stamp as originating from the second printing of 1938 - 2/6d slate. An interesting set to explore... Identifying King George VI Stamps |

...and what is there not to like about Penguins ;-)
Here is a mailing that includes two issues of those likeable birds from the Ross Dependency of 2001.
The cover, from a New Zealand dealer, features both the Emperor Penguin (Aptenodytes forsteri) & the Adelie Penguin (Pygoscelis adeliae) on the 1.50 & 2.00 NZ$ respectively.
