And for the first airmail stamps of Liberia... I have posted a link to a PDF file that I created from a 1936 periodical that I found. The periodical "FLIGHT" primarily contains articles about the latest news in aeronautics, but here was a snippet about philately. I agree -- a very interesting page. I suppose every kid who collected stamps 60 or 70 years ago had a set of these Liberian air mail triangles. I have a cancelled set but I think they're CTOs still having, as they do, undisturbed gum. By the way, I think it would be a good idea to revive the airmail threds that were started some months ago, but fell into disuse, sadly.
