Nice new booklet of first-class Forever stamps from USPS with illustrations of four mountain flowers:  I just made some FDCs for these with help from one of my kids who loves drawing flowers. I'll post those over in my other thread when they come back in a few weeks!  |

USPS' new nonprofit-rate Butterfly Garden Flowers coil stamps were issued on February 1, and they recently began showing up in my mailbox on fundraising appeals. I counted four of the Scabiosas (Sc 5665) before finally encountering the other half of the pair, the Cosmos (Sc 5664). I like the colorful, graphic look of these, designed by California-based illustrator Rigel Stuhmiller, and prefer them to the USA Stars they're replacing. The ones in this photo are all used, obviously, though the way mass mailings get processed means that none have been canceled.  |

two pages of plants - Republic of South Africa for the Proteas from 1977, and Succulents/desert plants from South West Africa from 1973 - full set in each case I think. Staggeringly beautiful, but think I'll stick to the 'classics' :-) Hope someone likes them.   |

This self-adhesive stamp depicting a bouquet of sunflowers of was issued on March 24, 2022 in Lawrence, Kansas. Printed by Banknote Corporation of America and issued as a pane of 20, the stamp pays the $0.78 two ounce rate (Scott 5681).  |
