In the 80's, Brazil released a series of monochrome stamps centered on the theme of agriculture. Here is an incomplete set. The one issued in 1985 features a sunflower (far right):

the self-adhesive 2008 flower in yellow, looks how I remember an African Marigold to be - nothing like the traditional British old fashioned English marigold. M. A. Buzin looks to be a designer much in demand.

and......... the 45c. value in the Oz set of fauna and flora from 1999 - the Ipomoea - reminded me of the related climber called Morning Glory var. 'Heavenly Blue' - grown in the U.K. as an as a reminder of hotter climes - the colour really is heavenly - parts of the plant will also send you heavenward if ingested - think it's an hallucinogenic.

The African Daisy is featured on this non-denominated ($1.30) U.S. Global Forever definitive stamp, issued March 14, 2022 in Kansas City, Missouri (Scott 5680). Issued as a single design, self-adhesive pane of 10, printed by Ashton Potter (USA).
