Hi, Michael ( mdroth)! As our resident Turkey expert, are you able to help with some of these requests for identification? Many thanks!

Identification.... Is this right? Michel TR 29 Scott TR 44 Yvert et Tellier TR 37(B) This is a 2pi stamp. Try Scott 65(1881). I'll leave it to you to look it up in the other catalogs. The other stamp ID (not quoted above) should be correct.

Just the 2 stamps, right?
As khj said...1st one is Scott 43 - Michel 28. 2nd is Scott 65 - Michel 43. Don't use y&t...you'll have to confirm those separately...

Identify TURKEY again . This one puzzles me ... If I read the value tab correctly and the overprint it should be Scott#9 the 20 para of1865 However that is supposed to be YELLOW (Compare with tobben63 's issues previously listed as discussed by mdroth and khj) If that is Yellow, I am Queen Marie of Roumania ! so where have I gone wrong?

To me it looks like postage due Mi.no.5 from 1865.

It is certainly a postage due. Scott # is J6.

The "Queen Marie of Roumania" should not influence your stamp IDs...

Thank you both, I ‘m glad I am not colour blind after all . I have Scott classic but as I usually prefer Gibbons I can’t always follow Scott’s listings . Didn’t get as far as postage due!🤭
