April 9, 1895 USA Postal Card, UPSS#S6 Scott#UX7, Postmarked Stockton, Pennsylvania (post office open 1857-1955). One of my pet peeves is collectors writing on postal cards. This has no less than four ID numbers penciled on the front, and two on the back. Really? And some of them are the wrong IDs besides. I wouldn't have bought this for my postal card collection because of that. But the message side shows that it was sent from a company my wife's great-great-grandfather owned, so I picked it up because of that family history angle.
