May 13 42 stevew - have you seen my "research" to help you......so many posts these days I did see your post, thanks for the assist. I've had too many irons in the fire lately, and am behind on everything. I'm still on the fence as it seems really ambiguous to me the first stroke of the second row is a bit short to be a slash separator, and a bit long to be a numeral.

May 8th, 2009. Philatelic cover from Äland for their Europa 2009 issue on the theme of astronomy. The Big Dipper stars in the stamps are actually perforations, and the yellow and red colours come from the background on the envelope.

May 12th, 1923
Inflation-period picture postcard (view of Zheleznovodsk) from Pyatigorsk, Tersk to Sarapul, Udmurtia, 21/5/1923. Franked correctly at the 1 ruble postcard rate with 2X40R/15k “star surcharge” + 2X10R defins, all devalued 100X. This rate was valid for only 3 weeks – from 1/5 to 20/5.
Clarification on Sarapul Sarapul until November 3, 1923 was part of the Perm province.Since 1937 it is attached to Udmurtia Statement 1934 year. Management of the Sarapulsky airport together with the post office expects to open four routes of mail transportation in the near future aeroplanes. The first route assumes: Sarapul – Mostovoe – Arzamastseva – Karakulino. The second route: Sarapul – Mazunino – Galanovo. Third route: Sarapul – Kirbaeva – Kiyasovo – Mushak. Fourth route: Sarapul – Nechkino – Raskolnikovo. In just a month will be transported 19 800 kilograms of mail Do you have information on these routes?

May 14th, year unknown: Bavarian service stamp (MiNr. S2, issued 1908). Not sure where the postmark is from (ideas welcome!). The red "E" overprint stands for "Eisenbahn"="Railway", as these stamps were in use by the Bavarian state railway company.

Not sure about the 2U after the town name though.
