Thank you very much for trying, Michael ( Londonbus1 )! I always appreciate the willingness of members to help one another, even if only to post that they tried to help, but couldn't find anything. I have made my share of such posts, too. Thanks again for taking a look!

4th April (1936) Italy, 1-lira brown revenue stamp depicting King Victor Emmanuel III and cancelled on this date in 1936. I am unsure if this is an actual postmark or just a fiscal cancellation. If any member has a similar example from the period to give a clue, that would be welcome. As this stamp is not listed in any catalogue in my possession, if any member can help me to identify it more accurately, that would also be welcome. I know that Stan ( stainlessb ) has posted something recently about revenue stamps from Italy, and I recall that tobben63 had posted something in the past about postmarks of Italy, and of course, Jon ( blaamand ) and Jens ( barbu ) are very knowledgeable about postmarks in general. I also know that Ryan has an extensive collection of catalogues, so perhaps he can help with identification. OK, I have tagged everyone I could think of who might able to help with this one. Hope to hear from someone! Wikipedia confirms it is a revenue stamp, with a similar stamp in blue used in 1935 and Fleabay has one for sale at $1.75 described as a 'tax' stamp.

Italy, 1-lira brown revenue stamp depicting King Victor Emmanuel III and cancelled on this date in 1936. I am unsure if this is an actual postmark or just a fiscal cancellation. I'm not able to help a whole lot here - I don't have much literature at all for revenue stamps because they aren't something I really collect (or maybe I don't really collect revenue stamps because I don't have much literature for them .... hmmm ....). My Sassone catalogue for Italy does have a brief section on emergency usage of Italian revenue stamps for postal purposes, but they don't offer any info on postmarks used for them. The examples pictured have postmarks that just look like regular Italian postmarks, so without struggling with the Italian text which accompanies the section, I think I have to assume that this emergency postal usage just went into the regular mail stream and there wasn't a separate postmark style specific for it. Here's an example of that emergency usage, image nabbed from Filatelia Di Simoni, a dealer in Milan. So, I'd guess you have a revenue cancellation of some sort. I haven't seen very many different Italian revenue stamps - other than a separate passport revenue stamp, they seem to use the same general revenue stamp design for multiple purposes. That particular cancellation style might associate with a particular fiscal usage, I don't know. Ryan

Chris, nothing in the few Revenue catalogues I have, and various searches of several online Italian catalogues offered little information. Wikipedia is seeming to be the most in depth info... which isn't much I got nothing

Folded Letter Sheet from Pictou County Nova Scotia to Irish Town, Halifax Nova Scotia, 7 pence, with PAID stamp The letter congratulates his friends recent marriage and the goings on back home. It's amazing that this is still available to be read. No letters today (email) will be around in 100 years for people like me to peruse! This is the oldest item in my collection.

Stamps cut from postcards I mailed when HMCS Kootenay (may she RIP) was docked at Sembawang, Singapore. I should have left the PC's intact! I also should have done more as I was the ship's mailman at the time, with access to all the postal accoutrement. Future items in this thread have the ship cancel on Canadian stamps.
This series of Singapore stamps is one of my favourites.

6 April 2020, postmarked in Boardman, OR. Boardman is a lovely little town on the Columbia River, and this dates from the last time we vacationed there. If you ever find yourself in Boardman with a bit of time to spare, be sure to visit the Sage Center.

8th April (1916) Hong Kong, Sc 112, 6-cent orange definitive stamp depicting King George V, postmarked on this date in 1916 at the Western Branch of the HK Post Office. I was able to determine that "WESTERN BR" stands for Western Branch based on a web search and finding similar postmarks on dealer sites. Dedication: I would like to make today's post in honour of our dear departed member Clive ( Anping ), who was an avid and incredibly knowledgeable HK collector, and to fellow current members Doe , hkwill , jimjung , brightonpete , vikingeck , anglobob , feebletodix , and tobben63 , all of whom are HK collectors and have posted some of their treasures.

West Germany. The date is faint but readable. It celebrates the birth of the Brothers Grimm, authors of fairy tales, and was issued January 10, 1985. Scott #1434 : Michel #1236

12th April (1967?) France, Y&T 364, 0.25-franc (25-centime) revenue stamp, script cancelled on this date in 1967(?). The final digit of the year originally looked like 2 to me, but the Y&T Catalogue number indicates that the stamp was issued in 1964, so I am revising my best guess from 2 to 7. Thanks to Peter ( brightonpete ) for suggesting this. From original post: I do not have a catalogue to identify this stamp accurately, so if any other members who actively collect France, such as hrdoktorx , renden , anglobob , stainlessb , etc. are able to provide a catalogue number, I will be happy to amend this post. Later Edit: Many thanks to Stan (stainlessb ) and Gavin (feebletodix ) for the dialogue. Based on your comments, I have added the Y&T Catalogue number.
