A couple Lidingö cancels, including my least favorite stamp of King Carl Gustaf. I think they made him look like a huckster. Even Słania got it wrong sometimes.

The 1999 tiger value Christmas stamp, showing a handshake, now from bygone days! Issued November 11, 1999 and posted at the capital, Nuuk. This stamp fluoresces yellow, which means it is from the sheet as opposed to the booklet, which fluoresces white. At least that's the gist that I get from SG.

Great Britain - the high value £2.30 Christmas stamp issued November 5 2019, cancelled in Edinburgh, and worth an astounding $6.22 according to stampworld dot com. Part of the full envelope it sits on. If anyone wants it, let me know. $6 in my pocket? Sure thing!

First up is the 24pf value from the set of 4 celebrating the 700th anniversary for the city of Frankfurt an der Oder, showing a sailboat on the Oder River, issued July 6, 1953.

Then two from Germany... the German Empire and the Federal Republic of Germany.
150pf from an extensive definitive series showing farmers. Issued in 1921. It was cancelled at München-Gladbach (now Mönchengladbach) with wmk. 125 (lozenges) wz. 1.

F1198, part of a series of four commemorating the illustrator John Bauer, 1882-1918. Very talented; the man who showed everyone what a troll looked like. Had he lived longer, I have no doubt he would have designed a few stamps. The Slania engraving and four-color press deserve credit, too.

Germany, from a pair of paintings, this one being the 70¢ Demoiselle Crane, Toucan and Tufted Crane, painted by Jean-Baptiste Oudry (1686-1755.) Both being the coil self-adhesive variety, issued January 2, 2107, with one cancelled in Straelen, along the southern border with the Netherlands.
