Two modern German definitives. First up is the 2m purple Buildings definitive that was issued in 1966. It's showing the interior view of the Löwenberg Town Hall. Then the 90pf Historical Sites and Objects series showing a bronze flagon from Reinheim. A flagon is a large container for a drink, usually with a handle and a spout. It was issued August 11, 1988 Scott 951 & 1529

West German 60pf X-Ray Machine from the Technology definitives issued November 16, 1978. Possibly mailed at Rosdorf, a suburb of Göttingen. Can anyone confirm that? I searched the 521 or 591 number but came up empty. Scott 1176 : Michel 990

Another trio of German stamps...
First, the 15pf Immanuel Kant from the Famous Personalities from the mid-20's. Then a 20pf 3rd Reich official, and and lastly, the 10pf 50th anniversary of the death of Wilhelm Busch, humorist who wrote "Max und Moritz"
I just have to wonder why Michel doesn't add a table of contents or index in this Junior catalogue. I don't have the patience to search though it all looking for something, like this official! Does anyone care about numbers anyway? Maybe I'll just drop the numbers. Scott 356, O100 & 780 : Michel 391, ? & 281

January 26,2005 I found this unusual cancellation on GB SG 1743. It appears to be a franking on a piece of damaged mail. I believe RMLS is Royal Mail Logistics Services which looks into claims for lost or damaged mail.
