The first being the 20pf 1,000 anniversary of Buxtehude, issued June 20, 1959. Then an appropriate item for the USA today, a souvenir packet containing the Bicentennial issue of Colonial American Craftsmen, issued July 4, 1972 and a coin. Michel 801 Scott 1459a (1456-1459)

Four countries today... The first is the 10¢ RCMP from the KGV Pictorial series issued June 1, 1935. 4,086,000 were printed. This one mailed from Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Unitrade 223
Then Berlin with a 10pf scenes around Berlin showing Kleist Park issued in 1949 Scott 9N47 : Michel 47
Germany next with the 20pf Flora & Philately Exhibition in Köln (Cologne) held, and issued on June 8, 1957. Scott 764 : Michel 254
Also a pair of Great Britain's 41p Machin.

Two from opposite sides of the world, or thereabouts anyway... I used to collect Tuvalu until the Leaders of the World sham was issued. Here are the stamps on piece that more than likely carried mint copies of the same thing to me! I hated that series with a vengeance! No info on the stamps as these aren't worth it. I still see these from various countries for sale.
And the FRG with a 55¢ 75th anniversary of the transatlantic speed record voyage of the Steamship Bremen. This is the self-adhesive version from a booklet of 20! 20? That's some big booklet. Canada does 10, which is more than enough, if you ask me! Scott: 2288A Michel: 2417

Also, the 15pf Lady's Slipper for the Flora and Philately Exhibition held in Hamburg, issued April 28, 1963. Just 30 million of this one was printed. Scott 858 : Michel 393

One hundreds years apart! First up, the Canadian Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria 3¢ bright rose, with a beautiful squared circle cancel from Halifax, Nova Scotia. There were 20,000,000 printed, and it was issued June 19, 1897. Then a Queen Elizabeth 30p Machin, a series I have yet to figure out! Unitrade: 53

The 1st, the 1¢ Queen Victoria Diamond Jubilee, with a squared circle cancel from Halifax, Nova Scotia. Beauty! The 2nd is the Berlin 10pf Famous Personalities definitive series showing Albrecht Dürer, cancelled no doubt in Berlin. The 3rd just arrived the other day in my APS order, the 3¢ New Zealand Life Insurance issue from the 1970 series showing lighthouses. Hey, they all showed lighthouses.

23 July 1904 France YT 132,with a moveable box cancel...French Boite Mobile...from Southampton,UK. Under an agreement between France and UK,boxes aboard ships were used for posting mail.
