20 September 1890 Austria SC54,issued in 1890.Postmarked at Bielitz,now Bielsko in Poland.  20 September 1898 Austria SC51,issued in 1890.The postmark is from Josefsthal bei Kosmanos,now Josefodol in the Xzech Republic.  20 September 1912 French Guinea YT36,issued in 1906 and with a postmark from Kindia.  20 September 1921 Upper Senegal and Niger YT21,issued in 1914.The postmark is from the town of Kita ,W Mali.  |

September 22Postmarked in Clwyd, Wales with slogan "REMEMBER / to use the / POST CODE" on this date in 1981. Scott identifies the lithographed, perf. 13½X14, gray brown stamp as WMMH16.

September 25Postmarked in Budapest, Hungary on this date in 1936. The 40 filler, dull blue, perf. 15 stamp featuring Hungarian artist Mihaly Munkacsy was issued in 1932 (Scott 477).

Another one from Hungary, mailed eight years ago today.  It took me a little while to track down Himesháza. It's northeast, not too far, of the corner where Croatia, Hungary, and Serbia meet: west of Görcsönydokoba, if that's any help. (Maybe not, but I really wanted to type "Görcsönydokoba"!) It's in the region called Baranya, which may be familiar to those among us who search for post-World War I overprints; Serbia controlled part of it for a while. |

Smudgy cancel, but UN cancel collectors can't be hyper-picky.
