29/03/1936. Cover flown on LZ 129 Hindenburg. This was flown on the last day of the joint tour of Germany alongside LZ 127 Graf Zeppelin. During this week long tour pamphlets where dropped supporting the election held on the 29 March. Interestingly (to me) the contents of the envelope was a section on hull fabric from the Graf Zeppelin replaced after her world tour in 1929. Also shown is one of the (6?) pamphlet designs used during this propaganda tour   |

What I collect: I collect world wide up to 1965 with several specialty albums added due to volume of material I have acquired. At this point I am focused on Canada and British America. I am always on the lookout for stamps and covers with postmarks from communities in Queens County, Nova Scotia. I do list various goods including stamps occasionally on eBay as hdm50

I have shared this first day cover before on another thread. Today marks 75 years since Newfoundland joined Canada on April 1, 1949. This stamp was issued on the occasion of their entry into Confederation as Canada's 10th province. It features John Cabot's ship the Matthew. Unitrade 282  |
