You might think this is an interesting US Auxiliary marking. This particular marking though would have been applied by the receiving post office in Manila, Philippines. Would you consider this a US Auxiliary Marking? At the time this letter was received the Philippines was a U.S. Territory. I have never seen this auxiliary marking on an item with a United States destination. Most likely the text of the marking is a local convention.
