This unaddressed cover with a WW II patriotic cachet includes two military unit insignia labels, one of which is tied, that look like they are products of Walt Disney Studios. The one in the cachet is for the 10th Armored "Tiger" Division and the label tied to cover is for the 32nd Bombardment Squadron. According to a very informative article, see link below, Disney Studios produced around 1,200 of these unit insignias for the U.S. military, all free of charge. One of Disney's artists, Hank Porter, began the program for Disney and is credited with a 1,000 designs. These labels on cover are offered on eBay from time to time and, given the high number of them, could constitute a collecting field to themselves. Worth a read if interested in labels like these.

Nothing as good as the preceeding (wonderful!) letter: 3 modern (2015 and 2018) letters circulated to Barcelona (Catalonia, Europe) from the same city and from Artesa de Segre (Western Catalonia) with Catalan Patriotic Cinderellas.

Early British testing Stamp. The 'Target' (Aka Poached Egg) design was first printed in 1935 and then in a larger quantity a year later. Both printings by Harrison & Sons. The cover has a notation (top left) stating that the ½d rate has been paid. this leads me to believe it was an experimental letter sent by someone from the Paddington Sorting Office. There is also in pencil 'Local' near the address. Letters or cards with the 'Egg' are not uncommon but are mostly found accompanied by a postage stamp.

Two more aviation related cinderellas on covers. A souvenir cover with a cancellation commemorating 400th anniversary of the birth of Henri IV in Pau.Pau is also knownn as the cradle of aviation in France. Also,a registered cover from Dakar Senegal to Buenos Aires, dating from 7 Dec 1946,with an attached cinderalla commemorating Jean Mermoz. There is a backstamp from Buenos Aires, dated 10 Dec 1946. I would imagine the recipient,Madame Weiss, was either a collector or dealer

Uprated stationery from Tallinn, Estonia, to Toronto (Ontario, Canada) bearing the cinderella with the National Estonian Flag on the Pikk Herman tower of Tallinn's castle. Postmarked on the day of issue of that cinderella Feb, 24, 1991. On Feb, 24, 1919, the First Estonian Republic was declared.
Letter within Tallinn, sent by the designer of the cinderella, Guido Pant, with 3 versions of that. Also, postmarked on the day of issue of that cinderella Feb, 24, 1991.

A sheet of four Texas Philatelic Association labels from the association's 58th annual convention held in Brownsville, Texas, in 1954. A return address on the back flap that is the same as the delivery address on the front suggests that the addressee prepared this cover and mailed it to herself. Don StampHinger

Here's a cover that started it's journey with 3 Cinderellas on board and no Postage Stamps !! It ended it's trip from Aberdeen to Aberdeen with 2 and a bit Cinderellas and a couple of Postage Dues !! Posted with vikingeck in mind !! This is the only time I have seen this Exhibition Label anywhere, though it is listed. It is similar in style to those issued for an Exhibition at the same venue (The Music Hall) in 1948 !! (I've never seen those either !!) The other one and a bit Cindies are in the form of Charity Labels/seals.

Well to add to that, 318 Queens road is a classy address pre oil boom , by 1980 most of .the large houses were converted to legal or oil company offices during the Decades of the oil boom. A Mr G Merson was an accountant but not sure if it was the same chap. 1960 was before my involvement with the Aberdeen philatelic Society though I did design and produce a cover and a post card for both our 75th and our 100th anniversaries.

Here's a modern offering with a couple of drab Machins and some fantasy and other cindies. Cancelled in Norwich, Norfolk. A Tete-Beche pair of fantasy stamps from Laernu, plus a single. Also a block of 4 celebrating 2 years of the Cinderella Stamp forum. Lots of other bits too, private handstamps, small humorous labels plus the Cinderella seen below. this was on the back of the cover.

Where did you get the Laernu item just above, the one that has the cartoon character and the small spotted dog? They were drawn by John Coulthard and the dog is his signature piece. I would like to find that cinderella for my Coulthard Collection.
Thanks.

1997 Cover from the Walsall Stand at 'Stamp 97', Wembley, London. They produced special sample stamps for the event whose main theme was 'Horror'. They tied the labels to the cover with their own handstamp which has similarities to the Official Royal Mail postmark for the show. I have great memories of these Wembley shows. They were the best I have ever been to and was saddened when the show in 2000 was cancelled and never to reappear. Here is one of those memories........long live Frankenstein and Dracula !!

Bit annoying this one because Australia Post neglected to cancel their own very nice series of stamps. Bummer !! Maybe the floods had something to do with it ? A nice Inland Sea Mail label courtesy of the Australia Flood Post. nicely cancelled in 'Sheepyard Opal Field' !! Who could want for more !! Note the connection between the Par Bateau and Par Avion labels.

According to the Fields/Picklo listing, the Bakersfield (CA) Stamp Club has issued only three cinderellas, all of the same design, but with different dates 1958, 1960, & 1962 and in different colors. This postal card, Sc. UX46, canceled at the Third Biennial Bakersfield Philatelic Exhibition has all three with the 1960 label tied by an Exhibition Station cancel. No message on the reverse. Strictly a philatelic souvenir, but still a candidate for my Cinderellas on Cover collection.

An American Airlines commercial cover with a cachet commemorating Swedish pioneers in the U.S. I purchased this cover solely for the American Airlines cinderella. The cover also included an American Airlines route map.

This cover features a one shilling charity Cinderella for the Prince of Wales's Hospital Fund of 1897 and sent on a cover from The Bahamas. There is no postage stamp attached. Covers are known with this stamp either with or without postage stamps and I was happy to acquire this very good example. It turns out to be even better than I had hoped. This British charity stamp and its companions is a subject unto itself and is covered in the Great Britain Cinderella thread, albeit in a fragmentary fashion. As it turns out the addressee , Sir Henry Burdett KCB (Knight Commander of the order of the Bath), played an important part in getting these charity stamps produced. He was a philanthropist who had worked as a hospital superintendent and was knighted in Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee Honours of the same year, 1897. The full story can found in this extract from The Hospital journal below and refers to Mr Burdett as he was then. Scan_20200525 (7) by Daniel, on Flickr Scan_20200525 by Daniel, on Flickr

This cover is dated the first day of the battle for the Liberation of Paris, 19th August 1944, which ended with the surrender of the German garrison on 25th August. It features a label depicting General Charles de Gaulle. The letteres FFI at the top stand for Forces Francaises de l'Interieur, French Forces of the Interior, essentially the French Resistance. MLN at the bottom stands for Mouvement Liberation Nationale, the National Liberation Movement. The cover also features a 1f50 postage stamp depicting Marshal Petain, Chief of the French State during the German occupation. The stamp is overprinted with the Cross of Lorraine, the symbol of the FFI. The purpose of the cover was to enable the normal carriage of FFI mail during the Liberation. An FFI document explains that, in this case, the address, Credit Agricole de l'Eure, was code for the Centre d'Action des Resistances Etrangeres. An excellent reference for this is Propaganda and Espionage Philately, written by Herbert A Friedman, at psywar.org which also tells us that many covers were prepared as souvenirs at the time and after! Postcard, circulated on March 1961, from Núria (Catalonia) a Sanctuary as well as trekking and skiing resort. Actually, the only place in our country that can't be reached by car. You should take a mointain train to get there. The cinderella, shows the Virgin of Núria, which is revered there. A very popular place in Catalonia.
