Between 1961 and 1964, Japan issued six souvenir sheets to raise funds for the 1964 Olympic Games held in Tokyo October 10-24. The engraved, unwatermarked sheets are all perforated gauge 13.5 and valued at 5 yen + 5 yen -- they feature stamps depicting various Olympic sports. The given dates of issue are for the sets,printed in sheets. However,all six souvenir sheets were issued on the same day,Aug.20th,1964.
