I've had this die-cut mailer with tipped in color photo reproductions of Florida scenes for a few months.
I guess I should start a Florida page soon.

I won this today, a superior strike of the slogan on a tidy smaller cover, the best example I've encountered.
I bid an excessive amount on it (snipe) and won at only a fraction.

Stamp. issued last year by the Spanish PO and devoted to the province of Castelló. On this, you can see an orange tree flower ("flor de azahar" in Spanish). Due to the many orange trees being grown on this area, the coast of the Castelló province is called "Costa del azahar" or "Orange flowers' Coas". The stamp was posted on a town of that coast, Benicàssim, just this week.
Jeff: if you're interested on the cover with this stamp, I can send it to you. Just send me a message with your address.

Does anyone have a catalog which identifies the citrus on this Antigua stamp from 1988.
The irregular sectioning of the interior make me think it is a grapefruit. All references I have come across simply identify the butterfly.
EDIT: I've come to the conclusion based on proportions of the fruit and its size relation to the butterfly that this is a lemon. Thus outside my interests (for now)

Whilst hunting for Ceres (Portugal) issues, I came across this set,
The 1982 FIFA World Cup official mascot, Naranjito, appears on the postage of several countries as in this other example,
Happy collecting!

Thanks for thinking of me, stanley64. I have a page for Naranjito already:
The empty space at the lower right is a bother, but this morning I found this sheet from Zaire which isolates the mascot between 2 Soccer stamp. I'm buying the sheet and liberating my little orange friend for that spot.
In a similar vein, we must remember Arabella as well, a product of a Milano Expo in 2015 on a FDC of the Algerian Expo stamp.

Great stuff JeffS, I should have known you would have found and included Naranjito already. However a quick scan of the earlier postings left me wondering...
Glad to see the completed page even though on my screen, Naranjito, included on the Zaire S/S, appears pink rather than orange ;-)
Happy collecting!

A last-minute search on eBay turned up this pair of German orange Cinderellas
Orange Harvest and Orange Sorting and Packing.
These are numbered 4 and 2 respectively. Correction, now in hand they are 1 and 2
The crude color litho printing has a certain feel to it, unlike much German color litho printing I don't yet know about the Adolph Luer sponsor.

Here's a lovely New Orleans oranges cinderella I had to pass on, not because of the price but the $13 shipping from Italy.

The fun of collecting along the guidelines of display class exhibiting is the finding of subjects outside of philately such as this 1922 photo and press release regarding fighting of locusts with a flame thrower in South Africa
An upcoming entry in my Fighting Insect Enemies pages of my Oranges:

Interesting concept using a flame thrower………can’t imagine it does the crops much good though.
Maybe it makes instant marmalade? 😀

Envelope (ca. 1893) addressed to T. H. B. Chamblin, a California orange pioneer who was instrumental in the formation of the California Fruit Growers' Exchange, which spawned the Sunkist branding of California oranges.

Petah Tikva page revised
Thanks to Londonbus1 for the JNF stamp and a recent find of a PPC showing a camel train headed down a Petah Tikva street between the orange groves allowed me a substantial revision to this page.

Luggage Labels with Orange Motifs
For my Orange Philately collection, not stamps but permissible under my collecting theme. Not sure where I will incorporate them. Nearly 4-inches tall, both.
Perhaps the Israeli label in my Jaffa Oranges section. And the Madrid, (Oops, was posting from memory) Barcelona, well, in my Spain section.
Gotta see what else I have to make a story out of a page.

Issue from Morocco in 2019 showing the lemon tree bearing fruit: Thanks for the suggestion. Until now I have not given much attention to lemons. Upon considering, I think the subject would make a tidy topical collection just with stamps and not including the other materials I include with my oranges. I certainly have enough now-broken citrus sets to pick a handful of lemons from.

What I collect: I collect world wide up to 1965 with several specialty albums added due to volume of material I have acquired. At this point I am focused on Canada and British America. I am always on the lookout for stamps and covers with postmarks from communities in Queens County, Nova Scotia. I do list various goods including stamps occasionally on eBay as hdm50

Finally, something philatelic
A third-class bulk mailing envelope for a Florida fruit-grower and processor. Will likely be the lead-off piece for my Florida section. Ponce de Leon is credited by most as introducing oranges to the state of Florida.
