My Scott catalog does not list a value for the used singles from Japanese prefecture booklets. Does anyone have access to a Michel catalog that lists the values for two sides imperf and one side imperf?
Thanks in advance for the help!

My most recent Michel Japan is 2014. Very very general rule of thumb that I use relative to stamp perforated on all 4 sides for the Prefecture issues (of course, always exceptions): 1 straight edge ~1.2x-1.3x 2 adjacent straight edges (i.e., corner) ~2x-2.5x I welcome comments from other members for a more "accurate" rule of thumb. Philatarium ... anyone... If you want specific stamp prices, please provide a date of issue for the stamp for ease of locating in the catalog. I did check my 2016 Sakura, but didn't see itemized straight edge listings. However, I am not that familiar with the Sakura, so they may be listed in a section that I wasn't aware of.

khj THANK YOU! This latest experience of lacking adequate catalog information because I’ve been using Scott for decades has convinced me to bail out and start switching to Michel for pricing. Scott values often have no relationship to reality, especially with modern material. Add to that their ignorant decision to only list set values and I’m amazed that they are still in business FYI, I just subscribed to Michel’s online catalog and they offer a discount for American Philatelic Society members and other societies. The savings were enough to cover a big chunk of my annual APS dues!

philatelia , Did you find pricing for used booklet singles for prefectural issues when you used Michel Online? And to both you and khj , Sakura does not price used booklet singles either for prefectural issues. Back to Michel Online, I had heard or read somewhere that it does not provide some of the detailed pricing that their catalogs do. I'm not sure if that's a correct impression. Terri, as you explore it more, can you let us know if you find that true or not?
