I could use some help in correctly identifying this stamp. I believe it to be a Republic of China issuance but can't find it in my 2009 Scott catalog.

That is listed here under the postal savings stamp chapter. He forces the image to fit a spot with the wrong aspect ratio, so it doesn't look right on the page - I've included the image without the aspect fiddling. www.chinarevenuestamps.com/23.htmlRyan

Savings and national Reconstruction Fund Complete set: The three little figurines, centre of the design, are old Chinese Coins. Admin: To have TSF a quality searchable Philatelic resource, members need to be able to change their thread titles. this needs to be China : Savings and National Reconstruction fund, for example Is it possible to do this? Thanks

Thanks Rod. Am I reading ZangCheng's post correctly, that this set of six was issued in 1943?

Steve, you could possibly put "1943 (unconfirmed)" My records do not show any release date.
Previous savings stamps, were of course the overprints on the Dr. Sun Yat Sen stamps. I have examples, and areas where the overprints were used, should you want them at a later date.
I read Zhang Cheng as 1942?

I read the single 1 yuan and a set of 4 in 1942 with the set of 6 shown in your image being issued in 1943.
Perhaps the postal savings stamp chapter that Ryan refered to will provide the answer.
Now that you and Ryan have answered my question, I'm going to move the thread to the China subforum.

Thanks, Ryan! Was there supposed to be a link associated with the sentence shown? I don't think so - that site is very rudimentary, almost no links except for a page / chapter counter on the bottom of the page. I don't know if he had originally intended to have links for more detailed images or something, but none of that coloured text actually links to anything. Ryan

Thanks, Ryan. I see the page numbers on the site but am still not seeing any chapter delineation and that is what caused me to think that you had provided two references.
