On a whim I recently purchased a small lot of pictorial South Africa postal cards which contained some interesting examples.
I'll post a few as days pass. Feel free to show any of yours as well.
As cards themselves, I find them a bit monotonous. However finding them uprated for international use is another story.
One of the best in the lot is this card, uprated from 1d domestic card rate to 7-1/2d for air mail to Switzerland (Europe) posted in 1944.
It bears the circular German swastika/eagle censor handstamp in red, as well as a 2-line censor marking
DEUR DIE SENSOR GOEDGEKEUR
The more interesting aspect are the two blue colored swipes across the front as well as the message side, looking for "invisible- ink" messages.

As an aside, I grew up very close to Blaauwbergstrand, and much of my family still lives there. Needless to say, it is somewhat more developed than it was in that 1944 picture.

A couple of uprated cards to Germany and Holland. Note the different-looking backgrounds on the 1d indicia.
I don't have a catalog or listing on these. They come in different printing colors and fonts. They seem to be a great way to learn of the history and geography of south Africa.
