From 1958 till 1973 a stamp-series showing Quasi-National Parks was issued. Q-NP. usually are run by the prefectures and not by the central government.
Other than the stamps of the also long-running series of National Parks, what almost all are monochrome, the Q-NP. stamps are multicoloured.
The Sado-Yahiko-Q-NP. lies in and is run by the Niigata Prefecture. Stamps issued Aug.20th,1958.

Izu-Islands QNP.,Tokyo prefecture (?) I could not find any useful information about this QNP,but it seems that it was (when ?) integrated into the Fuji-Hakone National Park, named now Fuj-Hakone-Izu National Park. But I am not sure about this. Stamp issued Dec.10th,1963.

the Izu islands there are seven of them are quite close to Tokyo, only 2 hours away. they are volcanic and some have active thermal energy going on as well as there are some nice Onsen hot springs there too.
Some have a nice view of Mt Fuji from them. They are pretty popular for visits, but I don't know much about this stamp yet. It is another nice one in this series, thanks for posting your collection it is very nice.

salentin I love this series. I wonder if they are done by one artist as the style is very similar. A really nice way to share the beauties of the Parks in Japan. There is so much variety in that remarkable country. The Parks stamps are and always have been some of my favorites. thanks for sharing these. Chris

No,the QNP-stamps were not designed by the same artist. Till 1968 Michel lists the names of the artists.I think there are four of them.
