A nice historical document. A letter sent to a lieutenant of the Public Force ( Belgian colonial army in the Congo) from Belgium. The letter was adressed to Boma. It traveled across Belgian Congo to find the destinary (Boma, Leopoldville, Stanleyville, Bumba) and finaly get back to Belgium because the destinary was deceased. Born in 1872, Lieutenant Maurice Muller died in Dungu on 17 April 1897. He suffered from dysentery. His brother Emmanuel Muller will become later a colonel in the public Force and get retired with the rank of General.
