That is the main post office. The philatelic counter is on the right as you walk in. There is a lot of new construction in the neighborhood around it.

Wow, the Himalayan Musk Deer looks ferocious. That thing looks like it belongs in Australia, where every animal looks for some reason to murder you ... I wouldn't have expected to see such a thing in the Himalayas! Ryan

UN´s 50th anniversary, printed in strips of 7 in sheets of 70. To big for my album,so I had to divide the strip in two. (all stamps are actually of the same size)
Issued June 28th,1995.

Maybe I should be ashamed to admit it but I never knew exactly where Bhutan was located. Or if it was, as earlier mentioned sort of a Dune type country. So this morning I went to trusty google and I found this. www.goway.com/travel-information/asia/bhutan/introduction/If there was anything you ever wanted to know about this country it pretty much is at this web site. It is a very tiny country but still waters run deep as the saying goes. It is a fairly long read so book sometime to sit down and read about this small but interesting country. That is the biggest thing about stamp collecting there is so much to learn about even if it is learned in passing. Nick
