These few may well be part of the final Sterling set of dues - I think they date to 1950 - 58, and look to be SG D41, 42 and 44. Look to be genuine and not fakes;-);-) - rather formal in style but no doubt did their job as required - like so many official 'things' the artistic character has gone from so much where once there was style.

Look to be genuine and not fakes;-);-) Nice blocks paul1, thanks for sharing. As far as I am aware, forgeries of the Union of SA postage dues are not known.
The 1/- and 3d penny stamps have a Port Elizabeth Parcel Post cancellation, unfortunately I cannot make out the date and the 4d cancellation is too indistinct to discern.
With the hyphenated Suid-Afrika, your assessment of SG D41, 42 & 44 seems to be correct.
Do keep the blocks together, especially the 1/- and 4d stamps which catalogue used at £15 each.

clivel - you've made my afternoon - it's comforting to know the fakers didn't get this far, and my thanks for confirming the SG catalogue Nos. - much appreciated and I'll certainly keep these blocks intact.
