I accidentally left out:
Sir Jagadish Chandra Bose (1858 - 1937),physicist,plant physiologist. Issued Nov.22,1999. When he became a professor at the Calcutta University in 1885,his salaray was half of that of his british colleagues. In protest against such racial discrimination,he refused to accept any payments for three years. Then the British gave in and he received equal payment and was awarded backwards payment for those three years.

Issued May 18th,2000. Here ends my Bangladesh collection. I would be interested to obtain some later issues,but have not yet found a useful exchange connection. Some few service stamps will follow in this thread in the next days.
