Received today from an eBay seller three Fournier Fakes. My purchase was for the top row with the grid cancels. The seller threw in the two on the second row, a much appreciated action.
I suspect the stamp at LL is a Spiro forgery, not Fournier. Not sure about the LR. I suspect it a Spiro also.
I'm adding 2 additional forgeries pulled from my albums I can't yet identify the creators. I've seen reference to Spiro for the 1-shilling. and suspect the 4-pence a Fournier. Spiro fakes are typically cruder than Fournier items which are cleanly perforated 12-1/2.

Nice acquisition, JeffS, thanks for sharing. I don't know if you have already seen it, but TSF member Morten ( classicalstamps) has an excellent website about Classic Era forgeries, and he has a fair number of images specifically on Orange Free State here: stampforgeries.com/forged-stamps-of-orange-free-state/Thanks again for a nice post, and congrats on getting these stamps.
