A couple more souvenir sheets. The 1933 WIPA sheet is a facsimile from 1981. Hans Wagner was a German army officer and a keen philatelist. In his travels in the army he built up a significant stamp collection. He wrote articles for stamp magazines and did much philatelic research. Scan_20200626 (2) by Daniel, on Flickr

Those were the times of fascist Franco's dictatorship. You had to follow their orders or face serious troubles... That's what our elders did 51 years ago. They, were not heroes...
Now, in Gràcia (Barcelona, Catalonia) streets you won't see any Spanish flag, but many pro-Catalan independence ones instead.
And I'm from Gràcia and I know very well what I'm talking about.
The same mini-sheet with the brown printing missing
Actually, I understand very well Gibraltar People's choice. I consider myself, a friend of British Nations.
The Mini-sheet of the II Coin Exhibition of Sants-Hostafrancs (Barcelona, Catalonia) in 1956, showing the town house of the old town of Sants, annexed to Barcelona in 1897.
You can see that the cinderellas have the text in: English, Italian, Esperanto, Spanish, French and German. But, there's no Catalan, the language of the people who were holding the exhibition. It was forbidden under Franco's dictatorship.

Cinderellas isssued for the 1957 Sants-Hostafrancs Stamp & Coins Exhbitions.
They, actually show a fountain in the middle of Spain's square. It's a work of Josep Maria Jujol (a very close collaborator of Antoni Gaudí) for the main entrance of the 1929 Barcelona's International Exhibition. It was held under the very Spanish nationalist dictatorship of General Miguel Primo de Rivera (1923-29); hence the name of the suquare and the symbolism of the fountain: Spain's rivers.
To the right, you can see one of the two Venetian towers, at the start of the Avinguda de la Exposició (Exhibition's Avenue), that was a 1929 gift of Benito Mussolini to his friendly Spanish dictatorship.

Barcelona, September 1998. Spanish Philately Championship "Exfilna'98" held at Barcelona's Estació de França (France Railway Station). Designed and printed by Sebastià Sabaté on pre-cut self-adhessive labels (21 units per sheet) from an idea of Jordi Campderrós. Both important Catalan philatelists. The cinderella shows the Fountain of Canaletes, at the top of the Rambles promenade. We say that not-barcelonians that drink water from this fountain, will always want to come back. Just Barcelona's romanticism...

For the 1980 Stamp Exhibition, Exfilna, held in Barcelona, it was issued a set of 5 cinderellas showing different Barcelona's landmarks. It was printed in sheets of 25 items with 2 lay-outs and slightly diferent colour (the size, is the same):
Sagrada Familia basilica, as it was in 1980.
Christopher Columbus monument (1890).
La Dama del Paraigua (the Lady of the umbrella). A XIX century lady monument on the Ciutadella park. A symbol of Barcelona.
Palau Nacional. Built for the 1929 International Exhibition. It, now, houses the National Museum of Catalonia's Art.
Drassanes Reials. A XIV-XVII centuries shipyard, that houses Barcelona's Maritime Museum and the venue where the exhibition was held.
Actually, just the Sagrada Familia has changed in 40 years. And, in my view, for good.

Two souvenir sheets issued by Barcelona's Stamp & Coins Traders Gild, for the April-May 1997 Stamp & Coin Fair. Held at the Drassanes Reials (Old Shipyard) of Barcelona. They show three important hospitals of our city, as the even was dedicated to the centenary of Dr. Josep Trueta i Raspall (Barcelona, 1897-1976) a prominent Catalalan orthopaedic surgeon, who worked for many years (1940-1967) at Oxford's Nunfield College.
The hospital are Hospital del Mar (just in front of the sea), Hospital de la vall d'Hebró and Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau. a Modernist building (now, a museum, being replaced by a nearby modern one) of 1900-1930 by Lluis Domènech i Montaner. Dr. trueta, actually, worked at the later hospital during the 1936-39 war.

Bought today: Exfilna'80 whole sheet with straight edges. When i arrived home, I realised that the colour is different (somewhat more red) thant the straight edges partial sheet posted early on this thread. Also, the right vertical perforation is missing and the left one is double...
It's clearly, another print:

Thank you Daniel for helping me find this thread! I have a small handful of Cinderellas, I don't collect them but I'd like to know more about them. This set looks like a Philatelic Organization re-used some older stamps that were first issued in 1933 for an event in 1965? I have no idea if this is a complete set or not or if it has any value. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Here is another stamp that looks similar to my previous post except it's actually from 1933. I would guess that this is a single from a larger set? Rob

Hi Rob REL1948 , WIPA, Wiener Internationale Postwertzeichen Ausstellung or Vienna International Philatelic Exhibition 1933, was a major world exhibition and particularly notable for the large amount of Cinderella material produced. Your second post shows one of ten different designs originally produced in 10 different colours. These sold out before the exhibition started and a further 10 colours were printed. They show the History of Mail Transport. See this link for more information. In addition, there were multiple (at least 4) unofficial overprints for later philatelic events, scroll down on the alphabetilately link. There have been 6 WIPAs held very irregularly, 1881, 1933, 1965, 1981, 2000 and 2008. So, your overprinted examples state Vienna invites you to WIPA 1965, presumably not official stamps, since there were both Cinderellas and postage stamps produced for that year. Similar overprinted versions are selling for about £5 each on ebay. Here's one such sheet, possibly a black print version, for WIPA 1965 designed by Heinrich Blechner. Scan_20210419 (3) by Daniel, on Flickr The reverse of the sheet has a mixed colour set from WIPA 1933: Scan_20210419 (4) by Daniel, on Flickr Daniel

Being Saint George Catalonia's patron, since 1970 and up to nearly 50 years, there was held a stamp exhibition organised by the Cercle Filatèlic i Numismàtic de Barcelona and sponsored, at the bening by Barcelona's province governement and later (after 1978) by Catalonia's Governement. In 1974, there were issued 1500 cards written in Spanish in blue, red & brown and just 500 in Catalan in green. These were dictatorship days...
The engraving is quite nice:
