Additions to my Texas Cinderella collection aren't frequent. This new in the mail today, SOUTHWEST AUTOMOTIVE SHOW in Houston, 1947. I imagine the interest in the show was quite popular as the war recently over, and auto manufacturing and sales were back to normal with expected demand.

A recent add to my collection of Texas Cinderella and Poster Stamps. The Texas Cotton Palace is a historic part of Texas history, well worth the web-search for anyone interested.
I have not yet determined the year of these dates.

A new addition to my Texas cinderellas, events noted are the Southwestern Sun Carnival, El Paso Sun Parade, and the Sun Bowl football game held on New Years' Day, 1937.
The 1937 Sun Bowl was a college football postseason bowl game between the Texas Mines Miners and the Hardin–Simmons Cowboys. Cowboys beat the Miners 34-6.
