One slightly off-topic addition/comment about LibreOffice for those of us who use macOS and Mac hardware: LibreOffice includes BASE, a relational database application for users who "outgrow" (flat) spreadsheets.
Apple's iWork Suite doesn't include a database application. Microsoft Office for the Mac has no Mac version of Access Database. The best known database for macOS is FileMaker (definitely not free).
So, not only does LibreOffice provide a Free Open Source (FOSS) solution, it literally provides an application not offered by Apple or Microsoft.

The orange on those MacDonald stamps is intense. Very attractive!

For 2018, I would really like to Organize & De-Clutter my HOME, my HOME OFFICE, and my STAMPS.

WOW Guy. I am green with envy. Or olive-bister, or something like that.
WOW.

It seemed to me that area66 was saying the 3rd Place prize of a 1-year Subscription was a "plain cheap marketing trick." I wanted to reassure jaysee that the Subscription was a valid prize and not a trick. I never intended to debate the SG contest, email promotions, the catalog business, etc. I'm sorry if I gave offense. --KS

Congratulations jaysee ; that's a nice magazine. area66 is wrong or didn't understand your post -- it's not a scam. The catalogs were 1st place; I forget the prize for 2nd; and I think there were 50 3rd Places winners like you.

Oh come on, PMGS. You know you can think of a way! Don't be one of those lazy programmers. And don't forget all the circular stamps -- you're gonna have to make those work too. <LOL> I am, of course, just pulling your leg

Well, I bid, but missed out on this. I let the time get away from me and the price went up really quickly. But it was HINGELESS and they don't make them anymore...

Rod, my friend, Happy New Year.
I have been using MS Sync Toy and a portable drive for my work computer for years. It works GREAT and I definitely recommend it. The only drawback is that it only works when you remember to do it (as opposed to a automatic or timed backup).
As you say, after the initial backup, it only syncs updated/changed files.

"Where's the self-help section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose. LOL -- that's great, Rod. Thanks for a great chuckle !

So, my first thought, WHERE THE HECK IS SANABRIA -- I've never even heard of that country.
But I don't feel foolish because I figured it out before I googled it :-)

Nice additions. I love airmails.
If I were "starting all over again," I wouldn't collect any USA except Back of Book because I do love the US Airmails.
And then I'd focus the rest of my energy on the Commonwealth.

KirkSLovely scans Captain, May I enquire as to the scanner and dpi you employ? I use a Canon Scanner that plugs into the USB port. It's really nothing fancy. I like it because it takes its power from USB, so there's not power cord. It scans up to 1200 dpi, but I typically use 600. Some of these are my stamps -- some are other people's that I saved. I have a folder of stamp images that I use as rotating wallpaper/backgrounds on my computer. I don't do any "fancy" editing, but for wallpaper images, I like to use the Auto Level for color and contrast to give them a bit more "pop" on the screen. The SAMOA below is not mine; it's one I saved from online.
