Nice ones, rod222 I'm a sucker for Airmail and I like the vertical format of those issues.

Good info Jerry B I believe Google pulls their info from www.xe.com/ If you've never visited XE, it's currency exchanger heaven :-) Also, for those with a smartphone, there are many apps for currency conversion.

I think you'll be pleased. I have been. It was BeeSee who encouraged me to join and I haven't regretted it.

My apologies Ryan -- it could be the theme that I'm using, but your link looks like "ordinary text." But I learned something, so thanks! :-)

Well, my question was partly in jest. But I admit, as an American, I don't think in "grams" :-) Most of my international mail is a letter or postcard and goes for the 1-ounce international rate of $1.15 Rarely, I might have to add $0.98 for the 2-ounce rate of $2.13 I just bought 2 panes of the Global Forever Sea Temperatures stamps. I think I read that some people are having trouble finding them, but the post office across the street from my house had them. Of course, the population here is almost 400 people, so you'd expect to find them in such a thriving metropolis ..

stampgeezer : I'm surprised it wasn't their plan to give it a number from the beginning. They would assign it a number if it were discovered years later, so it seems logical to me. It will be interesting to see what number they assign. If it were a "discovered" invert, it would probably be denoted with the 'a' after the number; i.e. C3a

Hi Geezer: I'm have a brand new account on PhotoBucket -- with some advice from rod222 , I've managed to figure it out pretty easily. As to the scanner, I didn't scan most of these -- I've collected the from other stamp sites, etc. When I see a nice, high quality image, I save it in a folder full of stamp images that I use for wallpaper on my computer.

Good Info, Rod. I appreciate the feedback.
For the most part, I consider everything on the Internet to be "public" but I have been experimenting with folders and privacy settings.
I have installed the PB App on my phone which bumped my storage from 2GB to 10GB. That also created a Private Folder named 'Mobile Uploads' but it was very clear in giving me the option of uploading photos from the phone. So I will experiment with that. It might be nice to have that as a 'backup.'
As for TSF images, right now I have just the one folder, but I will consider/create subfolders. And I appreciate the tip about treating them as a 'permanent collection." That is one thing I've seen on other boards -- people post a photo, then delete it later and "break" the thread. So I won't be doing that :-)
Thanks again.

LOL Jerry B I hope you know my comment was all in fun. And I will be the first to admit, as someone who works with computers every day, it sounds strange to say "a box of computer mice" instead of "a box of mouses." But while I'm on a roll at being a wise-a** --- Mickey and Minnie are mice. Daisy is a duck LOL !!
