What I collect: Cinderellas and some Ephemera from Great Britain, France and Israel plus a few beautiful bits from elsewhere !! Topical interests include Flags & Judaica, the latter with an emphasis on the Jewish National Fund.

War Purposes Contribution Stamp - Ceylon - Help Freedom's Fight A nice example on piece of this tri-lingual cinderella, in English, Sinhala and Tamil. With a nice George VI pictorial definitive SG 390, River Scene, 1938-49.

"Mothers of American Sons" Not seen this fund before ? Would this be "American War Mothers" fund, with a differing inscription perhaps? Anybody? (Not checked Green's catalogue)

Rod: Mosbaugh's U.S. All Fund Seal Catalog: Section I Patriotic and Veteran Seals lists the above seal from American War Mothers, 2615 Woodley Place N.W., Washington, DC. as being issued in both red and blue., circa 1957.
Not the same organization as Londonbus's Mothers of American Sons label.
