1959 Iceland Scouting Label.
I have been checking a few other 'Skatamerki' and there are some unusual designs. Worth looking for.
Iceland was formerly under the rule of both Norway and Denmark and their Flag, with the Scandinavian Cross, reflects this. The Flag of Norway is of the same design but with red and blue colours reversed. Iceland became a republic in 1944. The Flag was adopted in 1918 when Iceland separated from Denmark. Scouting was founded in Iceland Circa:1912 and became one of the earliest members of the World Scout Movement. (1924)

The images have now been replaced in full in this 'CINDERELLA TOPICALS: FLAGS' thread.
I'd like to thank the 'mystery' assistant who helped along the way !! (you know who you are !)
To celebrate the achievement, here are a couple of nice 'Svenskfinland' Labels.
Svenskfinland or Swedish Finland is an area to the South-West of Finland which includes the autonomous Aland Islands. The Flag is local to this area and is flown regularly including at local Government meetings together with the National Flag of Finland. The design is from olden times as are the colours. The Southern Swedish province of Scania has a similar flag in design and colour but is more square in shape. The central 'Scandinavian Cross' represents the affiliation and friendship between the Scandinavian nations.
The labels were issued in 1922 by the Swedish People's Party and were used locally.

I came by these recently but haven't had time for any research yet. It will most likely be the autumn. Not a complete set as 'Postaco' Series' were often quite long. Flags......but the Cinderella kind !! (also Coats of Arms !)

For LondonBus - see my eBay item 283013437438, Captain's flags from early Falmouth trans-Atlantic mail packets. You have my permission to capture the images and use them any way you want. If you happen to want to buy the item, free postage.
===== I forgot to add this little factoid -
Vexillology (/ˌvɛksɪˈlɒlədʒi/) is the study of the history, symbolism and usage of flags or, by extension, any interest in flags in general.[1] The word is a synthesis of the Latin word vexillum ("flag") and the Greek suffix -logia ("study").[2]
A person who studies flags is a vexillologist, one who designs flags is a vexillographer, and the art of flag-designing is called vexillography. One who is a hobbyist or general admirer of flags is a vexillophile. (Wikipedia)

This Cinderella Topical started out in Sweden on Page 1 with some 'Svenska Flaggans Dag' labels. Here are 2 more. The top one is the First Issue of 1916-17 followed by the second issue of 1918. The early ones are quite hard to find without spending a good wad of cash. I am still some missing but hope to get there one day. in the meantime, I am pleased with these 2 !!

I need to research these a bit but they have just arrived and no time for anything (except CW stamps) at present. But it will be done. They are very attractive. Very thick paper too. I'll bet there are more in the series. If anyone knows, please let me know here. Thanks.

USA Educational Fund Labels. I purchased a number of items from a US Stamp collector who just happened to be visiting Israel. So what better to do than to meet in a Tel Aviv Hotel for drinks and Stamp Chat !! This is one of the items that went into the Cinderella Flag Topical Album As you can see from the top label, the Order has a special connection to Scandinavia. I love this one from WW1. A 'rallying of the troops' kind of message to all those in France. "Haut les Coeurs, Vive La France". A Pro Patria label at it's finest. Well, I have to say that, it's got Flags !!

The Flag of Free France, with the Cross of Lorraine on the white band. The Cross was adopted in June 1940 and used on the Flags of the Free French forces led by Commander Charles de Gaulle. The sheet was kindly sent to me by Beryllium Guy from his Aix market contact. Nice one !!!

This "Long May It Wave" label arrived today, tied to a cover with Cicero-Berwyn Philatelic Society corner card that I've added to my hometown collection. The cover was postmarked in 1942. A brief internet search provided no indication as to who may have produced the label.

Hi all, Can you tell me something about these cinderellas from Western Sahara (unrecognized territory, not a country or state actually)? I heard only one thing, that Sahara has no legal postage and all of their stamps are not official. Many thanks.

Issued on behalf of the Polisario Front as part of their fifty year campaign for independence of the former Western/Spanish Sahara, controlled by Morocco. A typically post-colonial border rebellion, it's not a fantasy country, but lacking international recognition, except the usual revolutionary enthusiasts. They're tenacious; in the stamp business for thirty years. Right, the stamps are postally useless, except in Polisario camps in western Algeria, I suppose. Maybe if someone in one the camps has wedding invitations... The designs are prosaic, but I like the quality of the work. They go to a good printer.

I don't collect cinderella's as a rule, but this one fell in my lap last week - a Norwegian Red Cross example with the Red Cross flag flapping above the snow.

Thank you for the information! The funny and the sad thing at the same time that there are a lot of copies of these stamps in the Russian market and people sell them like a regular stamps, giving no attention to their status.

THE ROYAL STANDARD OF DENMARK. The Danish Flag (Dannebrog) with Swallowtail and the Royal Coat of Arms, Ratio 56:107. It's not easy to see the Coat of Arms from such an item although it looks like the post-1972 version for Queen Margrethe II....except of course it cannot be. Other versions and those for other members of the Royal Family are/were similar and may look the same on a Poster stamp !! The dates 1870-1945 are also a bit troublesome. But it's fun looking and learning as our hobby always is. So more to find out yet. Londonbus1.......time for tea !

Another Danish Flag Cinderella and this one had me stumped for a while. To solve a problem it helps if you can turn to a collector of Danish Cinderellas. So my thanks to Ray Petersen for the explanation, description and for setting my mind at rest !! "I looked in my catalog of Mærkater - and the listing for #1604 is: A/S Christian Meyer, Aarhus. Herre- og Børnekonfektion en gros. This translates to Aktieselskabet Christian Meyer, Aarhus. Men's and Children's Clothing wholesale. (Aktieselskabet = Stock Company = Incorporated). I am not sure if the company would have been allowed to use their logo in the center of the Dannebrog (Danish flag) for real - but perhaps it was OK in this type of advertising. While the Aarhus branch of the leading knitwear factories was the largest textile factory in the city in the 1930s, Anton Christensen's children's clothing factory was placed second with approx. 300 employees, and number three in the row was Christian Meyer's knitwear and clothing factory with more than 200 employees. Both of the latter two companies had been founded in the 1880s and had many domestic workers among their employees. After the war, it went back to them, and as the last major clothing factory, Christian Meyer A / S closed in 1976." aarhuswiki.dk/wiki/Tekstilindustri_i_Aarhus?fbclid=IwAR3m6rKvUVv9hL4-LHbgO5WhOBP-Vhdjo9nWu3U_CAd0Fa4YL2hVymFuiw0Londonbus1
